Delegates' Assembly 2024
Hello dear delegates, dear members of our association "BSG ABB & Hitachi Energy eV",
On April 27, 2024, our eighth delegate meeting took place in Mannheim on site and in hybrid form.
In the eighth year since our founding in 2016, despite the two-year sporting hurdle of the Corona pandemic, we were able to continue our positive membership development.
From 0 to 1323 members!
These members were represented by the delegates of the locations, whereby the quorum for the association was fulfilled and formally confirmed.
At this point, we would like to thank all participants again for their active participation and discussions!
At the beginning of the meeting, a look back was given to the year 2023.
Many sporting events and training opportunities were actively used again.
An excerpt of the sports are:
- Running, football, volleyball, badminton, dragon boat, bowling, triathlon, racing bike, diving, sports badge, skiing, tennis, back fitness, ...
We see this as a great success, which we want to expand on in the coming year.
Then the club's finances were discussed and the audit confirmed, so that the board could be discharged. The following board was then "unanimously" elected for the next two years:

Ratingen: Frank Idaszek
Minden: Ralf Schäffer
Bad Honnef: Iris Over
We then looked at the year 2024:
We will try to reactivate other sports (before Corona) and add new sports to increase the attractiveness of the club.
We also want to do more to promote the BSG with company runs at the locations and to recruit new members. We have also planned this for the agenda in order to inspire the new employees at ABB or Hitachi Energy. We will be present at Join ABB or Welcome Hitachi Energy.
We are looking positively into the future and soon we will be celebrating our 10-year anniversary.
