Stay connected - stay fit - stay active !

After five weeks full of sporting activities, the LHC of the company sports association has come to a successful conclusion. Over 100 athletes from 14 locations across Germany took part.

The Local Health Challenge was launched in September as an alternative sports offer by Betriebssport eV. The idea behind it was to organize a tournament in these times in which everyone can participate without restrictions. Since the tournament was not tied to a place or time, all athletes were able to do sport flexibly and individually, whether isolated in their own four walls or in the autumn-colored forest.

During the five weeks, the teams and individual athletes delivered impressive performances. The LHC winners in particular gave their all and achieved outstanding results.

It was by no means just about the sporting ambition or the prizes. There was also a lot of sport for a good cause. Sandokhan Kucic, first place in this year's LHC, will have his award converted into a donation and donate it to "Kilometers for Children". "That was the special incentive to get on the bike and rack up the kilometers even on the rainiest and coldest days of the tournament," said Sandokhan. The initiative was launched to combine the passion for cycling with support for children with cancer.

We were not only impressed by the individual results, but also by the variety of sports activities that were reported to us every week. Thanks to the active participation, the five weeks flew by. Many thanks to all the participating athletes.
