Successful participation by Antong

The HBTV (Bavarian Tennis Association) regularly organizes children's tournaments. This time the tournament was played in Krumbach. The first round was decided relatively clearly for our Antong with 6:0 and he was in the quarter-finals for the first time.

Quarter-final opponent Jonas has solid forehand and backhand strokes. In the first service game, Antong was a bit nervous and made a few double faults to open the match. The opponent broke Antong's service game. Jonas also won the second game with strong serves. Our Antong was 0:2 behind - but he didn't let up. With full commitment and many long, beautiful rallies, he was able to catch up to 3:3.

After another break, Jonas leads 5:4 and he now plays more confidently in his own service game. Unfortunately, Antong reacted a little too passively and lost the second match point 4:6.

All in all, he can be extremely proud! Above all, he has learned a lot: from his opponent and also from himself.
